Founded in 2024 by CEO Shawntea “Taya” Gordon, Atlas & Perpetua works with independent practices to identify revenue cycle risk, build proactive systems, and develop the strategies that keep practices financially viable. Taya gained more than fifteen years of experience working inside independent practices (in operations, administration, and revenue cycle leadership) before building the consultancy she’d always wanted access to.

Her work spans revenue cycle diagnostic evaluations, strategic advisory, and training for practice leaders and executive teams. She is a Senior Consultant and Government Affairs Council member at MGMA, a board member of the Dignity in Healing Collective, co-author of two industry books, and former Adjunct Professor of Revenue Cycle Management at Howard University.
