Strategic Services – October 2025
Taya’s expertise regarding the development and management of our practice’s RVU program has been extremely helpful. Her use of analytics through our EMR reporting gave us the confidence to know that we were creating a solid program for our providers based on actual data. This has given our doctors and allied health professionals a high degree of confidence in what has been a new program for our company. As owners this has helped us build better relationships with all of our clinicians and bolstered their confidence in our leadership. Thank you, Taya!

Enrolling in the Revenue Cycle Management course was driven by a desire to enhance my expertise and address specific challenges within our local health department. I approached the program with numerous questions and a strong commitment to improving our operational efficiency. What I found most valuable was the course's comprehensive exploration of each area of the revenue cycle.
This holistic approach illuminated previously unrecognized gaps and inefficiencies within our existing processes. It provided me with a clear understanding of the interconnectedness of each stage and how seemingly small issues can have a significant impact on overall performance. Equipped with this knowledge, l've been able to develop targeted workflows and implement proactive measures to mitigate potential risks. Furthermore, I've gained the skills to establish key performance indicators (KPls) that will enable us to continuously monitor our progress and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement.
This course has been instrumental in empowering me to drive positive change within our organization and ultimately enhance the quality of service we provide to our community.

Being part of the Revenue Cycle Management course has been both a deeply personal and professionally enriching experience for me. This course has opened my eyes to how vital financial health, compliance, and governance are to the overall functioning of our healthcare system.
Revenue cycle management isn’t just about billing—it’s about making sure healthcare providers can continue to serve their communities. When we manage insurance reimbursements effectively and ensure proper documentation and compliance, we help recover the revenue that can go back into supporting programs for families in need—like dental care, mental health services, or preventive care clinics.
What I’ve learned in this course will help me contribute to a stronger, more sustainable healthcare system—one where every dollar recovered means another opportunity for a child, a parent, or a grandparent to get the care they need. I’m proud to be part of this mission, and I truly believe the knowledge we gain here will make a lasting impact on the lives of others.

I've spent just shy of two decades in healthcare, with a large focus on the revenue cycle and financial side of the house. I'm always mining for pearls of wisdom as I read through expert articles or attending conference engagements. I had the pleasure of attending a small meeting format with Kem & Taya and it was a goldrush of relatable, practical, and actionable information. They have an ironclad grasp on the revenue and financial landscape of healthcare with a passionate mission to serve those who work tirelessly to heal and care for the individuals in their communities. I would recommend you explore their books, podcasts, or find a venue where they are speaking - you will benefit from this small investment of time!

Skills Gap – June 2023
This was one of the presentations that really got me to thinking about different connections in skills, education, job satisfaction and the patient experience. I appreciate Kem and Taya's expertise and will definitely search for more information from them.
Final Rule – December 2022
Very pleasant to listen to and was informative. She even had additional updates that were just made added to her presentation, which to me means she goes up and beyond her job, not just reading the materials and changing slides. Thank you.

RCM & Patient UX – November 2022
Lots of specific points to help with facilitating patient payments and clear balance due communication. Making me rethink our value to certain processes we have in place and considering change surrounding those.
PMI – May 2022
I will recommend this program to others. Taya was very informative of how to look at A/R denials in a different way. She also mentioned educating the staff, educating the front desk the life cycle of a claim and volunteering at front desk. It is better to have everyone informed as Team effort.
